Danielle Harris is an American actor and film director, best known for her appearances in a number of horror films, including the popular ‘Halloween’ franchise. Originally from New York, she spent her early years in Florida where she participated in beauty contests, earning several modeling offers. After moving back to New York with her family, Danielle started auditioning for TV and film roles. Her big break came in 1988 when she landed the role of Jamie Lloyd, the confused niece of slasher Michael Myers in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers; she then re-appeared in three more installments including two Rob Zombie films in the popular horror film series. In the 1990s, she earned fame after she starred in the comedy film ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.’ Over the next two decades, she solidified her career as a horror stand-out, appearing in a number of horror films such as ‘Left for Dead,’ ‘Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet,’ and ‘Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer,’ Harris has recently seen success in Adam Green’s slasher throwback Hatchet franchise.
